For The Love Of My CountryA Poem by matthiasLove for my motherland
The foolish man said to the material man
All imaginary are creations All that glitter come to ruin The love of motherland is the truest of wisdom The wisdom of old are light to champion our cause The love of a motherland Is a bond greater than fear All men are born foolish only a handful survive folly For the love of my country I will stain my sword And bath in the pool of death All men are born foolish only a handful survive folly The material man replied All glory without gold Is a greater folly than dead We must milk the land to wet our bread All the sweat without honey All cries without victory All the courage without reward Is a folly beyond comparison Woe to the traitor There is no greater evil than disservice to motherland Material men meet death in shameful mall All men are born foolish only a handful survive folly © 2013 matthiasAuthor's Note
