A Thing of Lies is a Joy ForeverA Poem by WalczakA poem explaining my reconfigured outlook on life.Silently watching from beneath the boughs of trees I see a silhouette that could bring me to my knees she's framed by the reflected kiss of night eyes shine forth with oceanic light. But then below I see my own reflection, for mirrors I bear no affection, and beneath are fish of white and black swimming in a circle, some spiral water track. I try my utmost best to not make the Pacific swish hand goes in gentle, aim? the ivory fish. Alas movement is too strong and water starts to rave, rocks of random luck, then turn ripple into wave. White water scares the fish that start to swim away and inkiness comes my way, but for chance my hand I stay. So even though the blackened choice I grabbed never the milky prize too is gone, I failed in my endeavour. Back to reality and my angel, I'm just about to swoon, somehow she can be, so bright against the moon which seems akin to jet in her presence the sight within my reach makes me lose my effervescence. So even though she came as bid all I wanted to do would never be did for after making the connection our paths lay opposed in direction. All things grow old and so I, but that which is not real can never die, so better I never reach into that ocean and even if... thou need not my negative emotion. © 2014 WalczakReviews
