Searching for the SeaA Poem by WalczakA poem.Where goes the green grass plain, that place where I once sought shelter from the rain, I tremble to think that her familiarity evades me, trouble and doubt do so surround thee. Since a mirror I am no longer, but even alone, her heart yet grows stronger. Oh plains of sand and fire, of blood and ash, Believe me when I say; “I try not to be rash”. For in the sea I have found another who once a friend is now a lover. So if the sea wished it were so out into that deep ocean blue, I would row, because in that water there is a light one for which I would swim out, on any cold winter’s night. © 2014 WalczakFeatured Review
