We Have an Angle Sum of 180 Degrees -- OmegaA Poem by Kami GraceLast in the series of three -- the condemning.
If our lives were games,
then, does it mean, that we can, start over? You were once a friend, that I would laugh freely, and you would tease with mischief. Loud quarrels, but never malevolent; soft whispers, but never scarlet. All your presence was amity. You then grew to be my brethren, and so did I become a little child, hungry for his sibling's attention, a poke on the forehead, a pat on the hair, a pinch on the cheek, childish might it seem, yet was ample. Until that night, when Eros shot his arrow at me, as if to unfreeze my winter, with a tint of warmth. And so did I believe. I knew how red I was. I felt the ultimate shyness. But I did it anyway, fearing that you would revolt at my words, yet no rage came out of your mouth, but a seductive grin. I actually thought, that I had the world at my feet, that my gaiety soared upon the summit of Everest, that I was embraced by more love than heaven could contain. I trusted you. I trusted you! I...... I trusted you......
