SálvameA Poem by Kami GraceHave we forgotten? The incinerating desire for pleasure and corruption, where the once holy act has become defiled. Wines and meats dominated the sense of the pleasant, without thinking about terminating their drools. Gold and silver had devoured their minds and conscience, good or bad or holy or evil regardless, only the figure matters. Buried in nonsense of this ordinary world of void, failing their gifts and talents they could dazzle with. They spawned fire and bruises and marks of rage, no mercy, no restraint, no anything as it blinds and incinerates. Pernicious eyes fixed with the last commandment ignored, gleaming at the thought of getting those in others' hand. Lowly yet thinks that he stands on the summit, without knowing greater wisdom stands beyond his field of view. Wasted holy wine on the crucifix which was meant to save mankind from their eventual doom. His present and mercy consumed yet nothing good after cleansing in return. Corrupted fools.
