![]() The Fourteen TuesdaysA Poem by Kami Grace![]() Inspired by Tuesdays with Morrie, which brought me to tears every time I read the book or watched the movie.![]()
Chaos,
yields heroes; yet peace, spawns nil. In this world, surface painted with grace, yet deep within, corruption dwells. Distortion, in values that rooted, from twisted minds, threatens the mentality, silently, secretly, of mankind. Bounded by figures, children, on papers, adults, on banknotes. Nonsense. Craving ones and zeroes, onto monuments, without realizing, grains in hourglass, do slip. For old tears, fall in regret, of the starry nights, they have missed. Medicine saves lives, but words, heal mind. Do not fade in emptiness, for a life is to be lived.
