The UnseenA Poem by Kami GraceA bunch of people working for the grand showcase. For we saw the diligence, the beauty, the paradise, but we often overlooked, the tiny gears, clanking to make these happen...... pushing this rice, a step, and a step, with all their might. For they all knew, the dry mouths awaited, this pillar of life. Determination struck, continuing their journeys. This flower in the deserts, had as if hibernated for years, collected and built, the ingredients, for her ultimate dance. For half a decade, she scratched every patch, of soil and of water, preparing for the future. Yet for two days, she bloomed, stunning and alluring, and her petals of different hues, no eyes could lift, for her uniqueness charmed. Then she withered, begone with dust, faded into nothingness. Here, their faces in limelight, smears, tears, fears, stained, yet halted by nil. For this intrinsic masterpiece, like a labyrinth, their eyes with focus, the fall of dusk could not hinder, this genuine and mighty will. Firmly and faithfully, one same doctrine, in mind they all bore. Tomorrow, it is a legend, waiting to be told.
