Spark OffA Poem by Kami GraceLife burns with war.
Crimson flames roared as they spouted ashes,
searing and scorching on the darkened earth, malevolent, merciless, bringing everlasting suffering and pain. Cheers and shouts burst from the warriors, disintegrating amity with their brutality. Their eyes were narrowed, chatoyant, omens of bloodshed. In such chaos, who could afford a glance at the violets? Clamor went on, silent sobs of the children unheard. Their tears, ephemeral, so were their lives. A final cry from a fading weakling, seeking help, or perhaps, the last thing he could do, to express the breaking grievance within. Scarred and glorious soldiers, may you halt and take a look at the dahlias? Gaze at the cursed soil around you -- the scarlet droplets, the quiescent flesh, the widened eyes. Deaths of the innocent are the result of your victory.
