WarmthA Poem by Kami GraceNo one is alone.
It is freezing outside.
It is difficult to breathe. But there is one person out there, silently clearing every last leaf. The streets are quiet. Not a single shadow is seen. But the diligent person is not alone, for she is the kindest queen. She is named the Sun, Mother of All. Her dazzling light shone through the cold air, surrounding the man as a warm wall. Her lovely smile has turned white to green, turned death to life, turned despair to joy, turned coldness to warmth. The pale snow is fading. The leaves start to sprout. Perhaps Winter is leaving, and that quiet man is going to be the first scout. To scout for Spring.
