ExaminationsA Poem by Kami GraceNot written by my hands, but my eyes.
People were wearing a wide smile,
holding their papers high above. Of course, they now have something glorious to be spoken of. In the elite class, the only thing they cared about was their results. While my classmates were carefully checking the marks, I heard some offensive insults. Everything suddenly seemed so ironic, as if the class had been split into two halves. With the ones performed well cheering in triumph, whereas the remaining weeping in misery. While some children were forbidden to play violent games, aren't examinations a kind of violence? They were like demons, taking away all your confidence and innocence. The examination hall is just a battlefield, and the elite class is the core of it. The strong are allowed to stay with pride, the weak are destined to leave in fear. To stand in the flame of war you must strive for the best, or struggle in vain and wait to be eliminated.
