Winter

Winter,

a beautiful season.

She gives people snow and ice,

but simultaneously she brings coldness and death.

But I love winter.

She is not as lively as Spring,

deceiving mankind that the world is without despair.

She is not as proud as Summer,

showing off how enthusiastic she is.

She is not as silent as Autumn,

having no words to express herself.

Winter is cold and cruel,

but isn't it how this world is like?

Winter creates blizzards and storms,

but isn't it how the suffering screams?

Winter gives humans painful hail and frost,

but isn't it how we treat the others?

Now as much I loathe Winter I really liked the poem regardless. Considering we are in winter here in Northern Hemisphere it made all the more interesting. Really nice poem and I really enjoyed how winter was described in comparison to other seasons.
