The idealist

An idea,it exists.

It exists because you have thought it.

And because you have brought it into existence,it holds potential.

The potential it holds,cannot be measured.

But many will try to measure it. 

                     And then when your idea causes movement,and influence,it will be debated.

And after spans of time,after innumerable debates and commentaries,after some claim to have proven you correct,and others claim to refute you,it still exists! 

As long as your idea stirs the minds of man,it does what no one man can!

It lives through the ages!

And it is manifested in man.

                      It will cause your name to be exalted,and to be cursed by many.

It will be heard by many,and rarely will it be understood.

So rest assured your ideas are better of heard,for bad or good.

Author's Note

I only can aspire my mind to as great a height as my poem describes.

I for one will be impressed when human ideas are debated by minds other than humans. Then they might have a chance of being remembered.
