Deliver us from Evil......

Deliver us from Evil......

A Poem by Matthew Kult
"

Let us pray

"

Our Father, who art in heaven

Mmmm, you are only seven

Hallow be thy name

Don't feel any shame

What is your name little boy?

The Reverand has selected you to be his toy

This won't hurt you one bit.

The Reverand always finds a nice fit.

Thy Kingdom Come

To my will, you have succumb

Thou will be done

We will have alot of fun

But you can't tell a soul

Hell collects it's toll

So have faith in me

I can set your soul free.

On earth as it is in heaven

Happy Birthday, Eleven!

Give us this day our daily bread

Four years of incredible head.

But soon you will be to old

And you will no longer be controlled

Your soul I have saved

You have been so well behaved.

And forgive us our trespasses

A saint to the masses

As we forgive those who trespass against us

Yet I couldn't control my lust

I have destroyed your life

which you will end with a knife

I couldn't control my desire

Was taken by the inner fire

And lead us not into temptation

This is my vocation

But deliver us from.....

Matthew Kult,
Religiosity does not satisfy the inner soul. The words above speak to a twisted agenda of what love is about. This poem was not about love. The very essence of humanity is in this inner sanctum which is defiled in so many arenas.
This was difficult to read.

A well crafted tale of extreme depravity and some of the possible consequences all told within the structure of The Lords Prayer. Always sadly, but all too frequently, a topical subject........Well written & a good read....N

My pleasure, Neville
I love the message, and it is extremely powerful. Well done, brilliant to use the Lord's Prayer. My criticism is your word choice in relation to your rhyme scheme. It was clever, no doubt, but I like more complicated/eloquent wording. Just a thought. But still well done.

Wow, at first I was thinking of the BFMV song but this totally gave me a twist. Very nicely composed, the word choice is amazing. I love how you threw that original prayer or whatever in there.

Hey Matthew! This is yet another ride I never expected someone to take me on. This was written so well. It left a mark on me and every morning during prayer(I go to a Catholic school :/ I will def. remember this poem and the fact that this really does happen. And not so much afraid what people will say it's just my poems are so dark they can actually report me and I can be tested for serious stuff they should have tested the Columnbine shooter for (I promise I don't plan on killing anyone) And I'm so afraid to let people in, I just close up. -Jaz :)

This was really creative. I loved the back and forth, I especially loved the accusatory hipocracy that dripped from the contrast between the "praying" and the truth. On earth as it is in heaven

Happy Birthday, Eleven!

Give us this day our daily bread

Four years of incredible head.
That's my favourite line! lol

Great use of the interspaced parts of the prayer. It bounced back and forth dragging me down with you. You certainly have a way with words.

Wow. Ummm...this is really raw and you have tapped into an ugly,
dispicable (sp?), nauseating world that is all too real. I really hope for you that this isn't a first hand account, because I have a friend who can unfortunately confirm this kind of evil. From a writing aspect, well done.
