Beauty by Design

A Poem by Matthew Kult

Beauty by design
Drawing that perfect line
To find the flawless dimension
Making it beautiful and fine
Till the image can align
Using a master's attention.

The artist will continue to refine
Till the piece begins to shine
And become an extension
Of her own bloodline
Making her divine.
Welcoming her ascension.

All to make the viewer enthusiastic
To help you find your inspiration
Or a simple conversation.
Either would be fantastic

Making her ecstatic
And proud of her creation
Soaking in the admiration
So she can create more magic.

The act of creating art is a form of art in itself. And if someone asks me the purpose of life, I would undoubtedly say it's to create everlasting art that would outlive our lives, for them to be a part of something eternal rather than being concealed away, hindered by our mortal selves. But what do I know~? I'm just a fool.
A magnificent work, author Matthew Kult. I loved it.

I love this, I as an artist can relate to many things here.
I love to draw, sketch, paint. Anything that makes me use my creative side.

I love these lines cause they are so me and so relatable.
"The artist will continue to refine
Till the piece begins to shine
And become an extension
Of her own bloodline" I often change up parts till its perfect in my eyes, even when others will see it perfect but I know it's flawed.

Greatly penned.

Excellent work. Writing is the painting of the voice.

love this, because I am a painter and can relate to the many of the words you use to portray what goes in to creating a painting...a sketch, perhaps, then a light wash a subject, colors, and then the paint keeps getting thicker and lastly the refinement....so that the viewer gazes at unique art....magic!
well done!

I really like the wordplay here. This is outstanding writing. Without any substance, this would still be very good writing on it's own. That's hard to pull off. Most of us can only do one or the other but rarely both at the same time.

The art of creating… you've captured what it is to be an artist. As I always say, "Art isn't something I do. It's who I am."

Great poem and concept, but I'm especially stricken with how well executed the rhyming is. A poem can easily become stiff when a writer is trying too hard to commit to a rhyme scheme, and this work eludes that trap with grace. Well done.
