Hero's Game

Hero's Game

A Poem by Matthew James Ginn
"

I got this idea just be sitting in my homeroom and than bam! I just started writing.

"
I dont do this
I dont do that
for the fear of looking insane
We shut our mouths
close our eyes

Unequel, for the days unknown
Truth is hindered in a bottle
Hiding until a "hero"
shatters it to pieces
singing loud and proud and free
for a moment
It was the devil's time to see

When the battle is shattered
shards
Blew that hearts away
the thing we thought mattered
Truth isn't free
sometimes
freedom isn't truth
to the point that dawn breaks
Liberty is a hero's game..
