Crimson solitude

Crimson solitude

A Poem by Matthew James Ginn

Her crimson eyes
the moonlight shines
This is not another
cliche' love poem in disguise
I just need to vent
My soul is spent

Every day i walk
Through that corridor.
I put my hand on the stone cold wall
I shout , out loud
To your crimson eyes
It was not my love that told
Me this tale of old

I just wish Life
would start to make sense
so i didnt have to start over again
The world just falls in reverse
Everything in my mind...Just hurts.

Sometimes we vent just to talk and feel we don't know what we are saying when we write it all out. But somehow, as writers, we polish and work it into something that makes our inner venting come to life. So we can see the story, or the moment, before our eyes instead of them being just words on a notebook page.

that is very true. The living words
A familiar feeling to say the least...I adore the word crimson. That's actually what got my attention straight off about this poem. ^-^

You're welcome ^-^
I think we have all been there. The feeling this poem gives off is known too well by all.
