Among The CosmosA Poem by Matthew James GinnOur Starry nights are the internal war of lingering dreams waiting to fly and shine in your sky.
Thirty seconds to Venus
Thirty seconds to Mars Among the Cosmos of our Dreams We wake through the subconscious I do not know how fair, how far To display the relic we are. I wade through the space The black oblivion of fate to escape It was not an act of blunt force but merely a star Its banter is a song the indescribable feeling of our place among the cosmos we fly, we soar, we shine Among the Cosmos We die, We cry, We rise This mother-like galaxy Among the meadows Splendidly singing my song of spirit this night sky My warm delight Among the stars The one in the sky That one is me My source of glee That one is me Among the Cosmos. © 2015 Matthew James GinnAuthor's Note
