Car bombs shake a city to the brink.
Generals analyze it and think
It's time to go to war.
Leave there entire race extinct
Church bells shake inside
There strategy they rethink
Machine guns rattle in the streets.
A bullet cares not whom it meets.
It's gruesome work is done.
Bleeding sons lay dead like cattle from the heat
The pin f*****g pull it, flying chunks of meat
Hoodlums and I.E.D's lead a reluctant retreat
Missiles launch from ships at sea;
Who is there that honestly
Can say what's right and wrong.
Drones approach, through the air silently
Waiting they stare, just waiting but there their
Out of sight but bombs range long
All nations join the game.
The world is not the same.
It hits us all at home
A military police state
Our flag in flames
An outcome we should have known
With a flash of light
No one's left to fight.
A city's turned to dust.
An explosion of pearls
The harbor it rusts
Hiroshima reincarnated, the actions of flight
No more ideals.
No more appeals.
Just burn the whole thing down.

The radiations real
The isotopes peel
Turned into a nuclear playground

Very good work young man. I think you pretty well covered the state of affairs in the world in one short write. It is unfortunate with people around the world on here and other places writing of the pain and hate of war and yet those in charge continue to fight. In some cases we have to fight, but when will it ended. I expect it will not. A sad state you have brought to light. Thanks,

Thanks for reading, Mitali. :)
'With a flash of light, no one's left to fight'. Disturbing imagery and crisp writing and a nice and easy flow. Thanks for sharing. ✌

This is tragic. A great collaboration - its not the writing thats tragic in the least. The writing smack the reader in the chops when explored at a deeper level. It reveals a youth that is growing up without the same unflinching obedient mindset of the countries citizens of old.
For an outsider this is quite an inside indictment. You guys take the image that is assumed worldwide of Americans as bloodyminded corporate sharks and makes us realise there is a heart beating as strong as the heart of the hippies of the 60's within America as a whole.
This is powerful stuff.
It deserves a much wider audience.
Superb political and socio-ecomomic commentary piece guys. !!
Blown away here.
