Your Love

Your love is honey,
dripping on my heart;
after I've been sliced,
chest cracked open
and it's beating exposed.

Your love is the blues sky, the defective parachute, and the earth.
Your love is the a*****e flying the plane and gravity.

Your love is a bandage
on a bee sting;
that you put there
before I could get the stinger out
and keep telling me to leave it alone.

Your love is a gorilla with a banana. I'm the banana.
I'm a banana with a bee sting. 
Who puts a bandage on a bee sting?

Your love is a poem that I use to sing myself to sleep.

So the message was for me... Ya, I checked too. I'm not a member of your group. It's must have been a glitch. I'd figured I was reading some bitching directed at someone else... I find that starting an argument in online chat is pointless. A lot of people look for reasons to vent their daily frustrations and if you show some emotion in an aggressive way, they can ignore your reasoning and attack the emotion; so they can share their frustrations with you. So, had I left your group because of the first comment you left on my poem, upon reading the second, I might have taken all the bitching that my head has absorbed from my wife's day of chasing around a toddler, and sent a Kamehameha wave back at you. It's pointless. I "HUG" trolls. It's what they want.

Thanks for submitting it to the contest...but the rules clearly say: the poem must be either four, six, eight, or ten lines long. And this is over twenty.
