Pain

Pain

A Poem by Freedom's Child

By the table sitting
eyes glued to the fading figure of the one he loved

On the street lying
blood decorating the pavement around her

Crouched at the side of the bed
while waiting for a doctor to say whats wrong

It finds it's way to everyone
There will be no escape
There will be no rest
Though I swear nothing to fear

It is not evil
It should not be condemned
It is not necessarily for the breathing
It is for the breathing that are living
It is living life

This...this wonderful sentiment that you so eloquently put to print...this is exactly the reason we should live each and everyday as if it were our last!
Masterful...
