So long old friend

So long old friend

A Poem by Freedom's Child

Bright lights of days gone by
Come again to light our way
The fire's flame is flickering
Fighting the sullen water's drenching

Which is the way to ancient one
Who speaks the words of wisdom
From days of long ago and yet to come

When is the day our will be done
On this planet for which there is no freedom
A sad man's story
A proud man's pride
A greedy man's greed

Are some of the reason's we all must die
