A Poem by Freedom's Child

Share your dream with me
This nightmare I've been in
Has been my only friend
I've been to the lifeless moon
I've been to the fevered core
But no one has ever itched for me

On a raw winter's night
My eye's took hold of you
You were the sun's final ray
I could not turn to the icy night
You saved my soul from extinction
You melted my frozen heart

Your smile brought me to my knees
You forfeited you're dream to me
You shared the trophies of your heart
I've nothing worthy to give
But you may have the blood that flows from my heart

Wow, this is really deep. I love the last stanza, and the poem flowed very well. Great job! I can't wait to read more things from you :)
