the world as it once was

the world as it once was

A Story by Matome Masipa
"

A memory

"
Pay no mind to the cruelty of the world;
So we smiled in the moment of our pain and hope;
Love was shared; misery was pointed a tree and given a rope.
No one cared.
We were together, and that is all that mattered to me on this day,
covered in sun and in grey.
Another life awaits her in the wake.
Though not with us, it is a better life beyond our imagination, pay no mind to the cruelty of the world. Seconds in time are always taken, so is everything else in life.
For the sake of the children, we cannot be broken nor appear shaken.
Only Jah knows, where the wind of our spirits truly blows .
