the shade of garden beauty

the shade of garden beauty

A Story by Matome Masipa
"

Waiting for the moment of finding something

"
I cannot mourn the butterfly until the end of time, for it did not die.
All I can do is watch her fly.
Fly high out of sight,
into the big blue sky.
Her beauty is for anyone she wants to memorize
I look around , the garden is full of butterflies.
So many colors on their wings.
So many hidden stories; but I only want one. And am stuck; so I sit on the rock, just watching, watching. I cannot quest for the butterfly, I have done it so many ways so many times, and I have lost way too much time.
Let them fly, let them fly, one that can land on me -like a flower,
My heart is yours to hide.
I don't know which one to pick, the garden is filled with so many beautiful butterflies
see the truth, though it hurts, healing with all these butterflies
Oh why cry why cry child;
There so many butterflies.
Yet here you are, thinking of the one that flies,
You can't even see the butterfly on your nose.
