who are you

who are you

A Poem by Matome Masipa
"

Tamed by a butterfly

"
Who are we;
Is what my wonder of you does to me;

A feeling in summer rain on a fragile day;
One that's missing clouds but yet there is breeze and sun ray.
With you, Life is peaceful
Life is beautiful, you are beautiful;

So who are you;

Flower Child who discovers truth within me in a pool of evil
Butterfly soul turning my truths and self purity into a priceless valuable
My sins into ashes, my dreams into inception of the believable
My furthest reach for blissful emotion into touch-able
Like the first time you touch mist turned into snow
Like the first time you see black roses grow.
You a gardener, you an artist
A designer of fragments in my universe,
A void of nothing but forces of happiness that are hard to resist
A conjure of limitless inspiration
A believer of my imagination.

Who are you;
Is what wonder of you does to me;

Are you a flower or a butterfly.
Do you go where the wind blows or do you fly high.
Do you nurture love in hearts or grow minds wise.
Silly isn't it? it feels we Deja-vu our moments more than we realize.
The answers in our hands spilling in the passion and sacrifice.
Sacrifice, of knowing, I came alone in this world and you didn't, yet, I too embody parts of you-like water, air and ice,
Like steam and vapor-we burn, we are frigid,the higher we go we become like the future-
unseen and unexplainable, beyond the tallest roof
From the deeper conquest of your mind, your heart and glare. I see the undeniable truth.

But am not sure you do, so who are you;

'Being' , who Patiently rushes time so we can see each other again
My mind turned into scriptures, metaphors and principles possessing my brain.
Our chemistry the Light and night; The dreams and sight of our never seen domain
As our genesis begins with us Exploring each other in fantasy and reality
Leaving the parables leaving us confused in the possibility:
Of silence turning audible,
Of life accustomed to revealing the impossible,
like believing the world can be round and still have an end
Like The sun moves around each planet
The moon falls beneath the circumference of the hemisphere quiet
Am going too deep, I need to stop,
Before I lose it, before I lose you before I ruin something so positive..let me start from the top to the main objective.

Who are you,
Is what my wonder of you does to me;

But if you ever forget and didn't know any more.
Ask me who you are.
And I will tell who am i;
You will always find yourself within me.

If you really heard me, Now tell me, who are you?
