sparkling dustA Poem by Matome MasipaCaught up in my imagination againSparkling lights and orange moon light have caught my eyes attention. Am walking in a dark daydream yet the moonlight shows my destination. Seems lately all these deep words that I mention have no meaning and have no affliction. So tasteless for the moment I can't even reveal my true expression, for it hurts to see words mean nothing like a cheap wedding occasion. These words that make you read and ask yourself a lot of things that mean one question. I send them to you hoping you can give me clarification. Even intelligent people failed to see genius in Galilei's portraits of heavenly passion and equation. The hand touches what the mind asks of it, but the heart is victim of another hearts affection. How can it be that I show my true expression. Whether in heartbreak or happiness we all seek attention. But you too faraway, I reach out but I touch nothing but souls invisible to lights collision. We are truly two hearts separated by nothing but soil and air yet we still cling on to you and me as an atlantic illusion. For I know you real just as you know am real, how silly is our situation. Maybe one day we will meet again under sparkling lights and orange moonlight and I will express my inner most intention. And revive the essence of sensation in these soft lips and slow kisses that leave us trapped high with a light mirage of love and imagination in imagination. The Imagination, of sparkling lights. © 2016 Matome Masipa |
