the cast out into nowhere

the cast out into nowhere

A Poem by Matome Masipa
"

Life is somehow still the same as the past

"
It was autumn, The season of the cast out into nowhere.
We gloried unto the wooden ark of dreamers and inventors.
There were Filthy traitors
amongst the greatest painters.
There were fifty sailors all dressed in angel white to the eyes of the envious.
Not given the honors, but pitifully, the shame, was the fat belly mayors.
But the king was praised for this voyage, as all praise is given to the rulers.
We spit on the ground and feet of the greedy tax collectors,
The self centered dukes that crucified the payers.
The autumn came and aboard the ship the royals and the wealthy claimed, waving their hands pretending they adore us,
We were fools trapped by tradition and the oppressors.
Crushed inside we waved back with eyes so devious.
May merciless death follow them leaving their sons b******s, and daughters in horrors.
Feel no pity for these self proclaimed philosophers and innovators.
They are rich liars and we are nothing but scavengers.
The weather barely felt rich in blessed air with them surrounded by us, the poorest of the popes, and our disgusting odors.
The bells rang under the so called holy father's orders.
The choirs sang with godly hymns under the rhythm of the horns and violin's breathless composers.
The ship became smaller as we became more furious.
It was At that very moment we knew we were a testament to their legend, for deep down we too were curious.
They Cast out into the seas towards the sleeping sun while we stayed behind to have fetish acts with their w****s and lovers.
They would one day come back and find us kings of the realm of the imperious.
So they too can stare.
They forget spring will come and the trees will bare.
And the sky will be clear,
And heavens first creation will shine everywhere.
Oh, How I too long for that day with glittering teary glare.
For the chance to go somewhere,
For the chance to smile to the touch of air.
For we all swear to have wealth to take us further than the eye can trace, to anywhere,
So we too can embrace as do our Grace, The cast out into nowhere.
