Little Blowfish

Little Blowfish

A Poem by mathiasthom

Boy meets his potential,
crushed flowers and stale chocolates
Don't forget about them,
The ones who have nothing,
Whose hearts cry out for something real
yet this world is so judgmental,
where is the la-de-da appeal?

This gallows humor strikes a chord
2 ships in the night
mis charted, off course,
into the stony shoreline
smashed to bits
hidden rocks and boulders
The wind becomes colder,
Another year older,
So, What's the use?

Sink your teeth into her neck
Suck little blowfish, suck
Now you've been marked,
exposed in the dark,
So much for a romantic heart...
