FAILURE

success and failure are two sides of one coin. with proper perspective,whether you fail or succeed on the way - it's still possible to reach the greatest achievement of your life.

"Sometimes great achievements only come from a period of failure that helps you understand who you really are."   -John Maxwell

That statement made me realize something very important. 

I can never be who I wanted to be if I don't even know who am I really am. You see, I kept on looking at the person I wanted to be without knowing who I am now. All those mistakes, failures, and  poor choices that I made despite of all the things I should have learned only reflects my core being, my personality, attitude, character, and most especially my weakness. Before I can ultimately focus on my strengths, I need to understand my weaknesses. I need to understand my fears. I need to honestly acknowledge  and take responsibility of the dark side of who  I am. In that way I can ultimately bring them to the light of God's mercy and to allow Him to use them to help and inspire others to become better. So others can find healing in my wounds.

I realized that each time I fail, I'm forced to acknowledge the attitude that I have and the poor choices that I made that contributed to that failure. Thus, knowing the problem makes me look for the solution. And the pain of failing gave me the motivation to keep on trying to look for that "ultimate solution" that can make me even better.

Truly, my failures taught to me to understand who and what I am now. So that I can find a way to become better each time and finally get the ultimate achievement my heart desires.

very very true... through the mistakes, you discover yourself... When I was young in grade four, I used to play journalist. Then later I wished to be politician... After growing up and getting into all the personal problems I went through and sorrows, i realized after the age of 30 I was a writer all along. That what i went through was making me ready to be a writer, to express out all what I feel to the world, be that kind of journalist and politician but in a different way...

If it weren't for the mistakes I did, the wrong places I worked with, the political party i joined and regret and many other things, i wouldn't have known who i was :)

you don't know how much i need so much reassurance that somewhat what i believe in is true.
you know, sometimes no matter how positive we thought we are,
when things are not going our way, we will still experience hopelessness...
