Cerebral Matches

Cerebral Matches

A Poem by massam
"

Describe it yourself.

"

How do I soothe the aching joint that lay in its watchtower?

Twice it was with a blade across its overlying landscape

But with age the imbalance only gained power

So now this lesion is subdued with only a cape

So a ragged, torn poster of Superman hangs from the beams

Of a limited fixture that is void of patches

Thoughts bounce around and bleach the walls at the seams

Only to tangle up and ignite cerebral matches
