lacking helping

A Poem by Mason Lipman
"

A lighthearted poem I wrote recently. I'm not certain what it is about, honestly, but I hope it's enjoyable.

"

be as the bird were

in his youngest of days

explore to contentment

cherish all whom you meet

be aware of trespassers

keep an eye on your feet

become as the wise man

sleeping for days

keep neighbors at bay

cherish your grandsons

and your granddaughters of course

of your tales? make them tall

but your poems keep short

I purposely wrote this without regard for grammar, punctuation, or capitalization, as I was inspired by e.e. cummings. Thanks for reading.
