Faith

So I took my butterflies,

And I set them free,

Oh I let them spread their wings,

And as they flew across the valley..

I heard the wind whispering to me..

Darling, just breath..

It’s alright now, you are free,

Take each step ahead…

God is here and your new life will begin..

If you follow me..

As I watched the petals of a rose, they started to fall and float..

Away they danced across the breeze, towards the greatest mountains, I’d ever seen..

And I ran, as fast as my legs would go,

 And I felt the cold snow, beneath my toes,

And as my cheeks turned red, God appeared to me and said,

 My daughter, my strength, my love, my mercy, and my pain..

Let you live among the angels, and soar beyond the clouds..

Because you’re home with me now..

So when I closed my eyes, felt safe and sound..

I woke up back, where I was before, but instead of my lord..

I saw my family there…

But his words are now my own…

I am his grace, am his mercy, love, and strength….

And I will live my life with grace,

I will never doubt his faith,

Because God is my greatest strength..
