Loud

Louder than a thousands drums,

I want to scream,

I can't breath...

The fire burns in me..

I slam my feet on the ground, as I look around..

I am powerful, strong and demanding...

For what I need...

I need somebody, people to lean on,

To have when I'm alone..

I need hands rough enough to put me in my place..

But soft enough to ease my pain..

I need a voice, that never shakes...Never lies or fades away

Loud my heart beats, in the silence of the night air..

My eyes like lights, finding my way..

And like the thunder and the rain, I am here, loud and brave..

Nothing to fear,

But I need something more..

And it never knocks at my door...

I need something that'll let me dream, of things I've never seen...

I need something wise, like a libary of books..

I don't know how to get theses things...

Louder I must be...

For this world to hear me.

Loud like a lion, bathing in the sun,

Proud like a mother holding her son..

I must be everything, and louder...

Can't you see..

I still need a friend,

To share secrets and to laugh with..

I still need a home,

I can go to when it's too cold..

I still need to make decisions,

On what steps I need to take..

But when I do the buildings will shake.
