Two PoemsA Poem by Benjamin Seymour
1. Love is for…
Love is for the innocent and the naïve to believe in Love is for the people who have no troubles to claim some Love is for the young and the foolish to cherish Love is for the needy and the weak to rely upon Love is for the bold and the brave to seize upon Love is for the compromisers and the arguers to exalt Love is for the communists and fascists to propagandise Love is for the artist and the linguist to personify Love is for the dancer and the musician to compose
Love is for the writer to extirpate, despoil, shred to ribbons and abandon, shattered in ruins upon typewritten paper
Petty concept, love
