BlackGreyWhiteA Poem by Benjamin Seymour
I’m waiting to be discarded and Thrown away like yesterday’s news Fading away into BlackGreyWhite Until I mean nothing to you, once more I’m nothing special to you, you know I’m just another domino Standing in my line Awaiting my turn to fall I wouldn’t have it if I thought I meant something to you There is nothing that means a thing At the end of this light-saturated day So throw me away like a puppet At least you’d remember me that way Find yourself someone else Who actually means something to you Something other than BlackGreyWhite Melting away from view © 2008 Benjamin SeymourReviews
