Gary Hill

After viewing one of Gary Hill's photos (shown here) I was compelled to write.

Square

Unsettling

Unfinishing

A separation – division

Crack

silent – loud – untelling

lined and splattered

Unwhole – incomplete

A separation – division

Nicely mirrored. While I can't say it touched something within me, I can see that you were definitely in the flow of writing when you created this piece.

Then again, I've never been a big fan of poetry.

I do like how that small square of a picture inspired a whole writing piece, though. It shows that you're a true writer. Some people can write for days and days without ever having to stop, but they're mediocre in their creations.

Writers like us, who don't like what we write when we're forced, and instead have to be in a sort of creative zone of our minds to create something great, are the ones who are regarded by society to be 'geniuses'. I think you'll be very successful with this type of poetry =)

Very nice.

Thats was cool! Amazing how inspiration strikes and just takes control of our pens and pencils to do wonderous things.

Makes me wonder if every little thing out there has a hidden poem eminating from it?

About
I'll admit it, I cannot for the life of me write on cue. It just comes to me when it wants to, and doesn't when I want it to. Go figure. In between sudden urges to write, I dance, a lot, listen to som.. more..
