Chapter ElevenA Chapter by Mary GreenwellChapter 11 “How’s this?” he asked in the spell room. “The last place they’d expect when we’re supposed to get an intervention.” I smiled pushing him into a corner. “What are you doing?” he smiled in a whisper so that we were not caught. “I thought I saw an interesting study over here.” “Oh we’re studying.” “Yes here it is it’s quite interesting I think you’ll enjoy it.” “Will I?” he asked as I moved to sit on the seat. “Yes I believe so.” I smiled as he caught onto the game and continued to tease moving his lips closer. “What was it about?” he asked really close. “Oh I think it was in this stack.” I smiled turning my lips and he only got cheek as he kissed me he sighed seeing how much I was enjoying this game. “That stack huh?” he asked blinking over to my lips and he was suddenly very close he was determined to win. “Or maybe they were over here.” I said moving over to another stack and he groaned this time I giggled and spent a little too much time celebrating because he wound his arms around me and put his lips on mine. “I think I found that book.” He said on them. “Umm…” I sighed happily, “I think you did too.” I felt his hand move up my thigh and reached for it intertwining my fingers with it and bringing them up to hold on our hearts as he continued to kiss me. He pulled his hand away from mine though and moved it to my lower back pushing me closer and then moving back to my leg and hitching it up to his before I felt the pull of the blinking and when I opened my eyes, we were in his room. He pushed me into his bed but then his door crashed open. “Don’t think about blinking.” Leo ordered and Cole pulled away knowing Leo could follow us wherever we went. “What now you’re using your powers so you can make out?!” Piper yelled at us. “If you have them…” I started but trailed off at hers, Leo’s, and Liz’s looks. “Watch it or you won’t have them.” Piper’s youngest sister, Chloe, laughed. She was who we pretended to be the daughters of and if I was being honest, she was the coolest I pulled quickly away from Cole and hugged her. “What are you doing here Chloe?!” I yelled. “They called me here for yours and Cole’s intervention but I don’t think you need it you are definitely practicing your magic.” She shrugged, “Like you say if you’ve got it use…” she trailed off at her sisters’ and brother-in-law’s looks. “See what we live with.” I gestured crawling back up with Cole. “All we were doing was blinking for goodness sake what’s wrong with that?” “It’s his warlock power.” Liz said. “He’s not warlock Liz.” I pointed out impolitely tired of them correcting us every step we took we might go to high school and we might not study every day or have studied the last few decades but we were over one hundred and fifty we were plenty old to do what we wanted. “We don’t know that for sure.” Leo said. “You did not just call Cole a warlock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed. “It could be easy for him to be born a warlock.” Leo nodded. “I’d know that the second he was born!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed getting angrier and so I turned my attention to the second bear that was still kept in Cole’s room. “You guys might want to leave.” Cole said calmly knowing exactly what I was doing. “Why should we? We haven’t done what we wanted.” Piper snapped. “This is why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” I screamed at them letting my power progress some and easily catching the bear on fire and letting my new power make its big debut, “Hey Kali you know those powers we wanted to debut together!!!!” I yelled, “Get in here!!!” She ran in, let her new power debut too, and put the fire out. “You all said I haven’t been practicing my magic I have it under control enough not to catch you on fire.” I said smiling phonily, “Now do you think you want to leave so Cole can calm me down?” They all left at that and Cole just wrapped his arms around me. “How long have you been able to catch things on fire?” He whispered. “My powers have been out of control this whole life you know how every few lives they decide to just bombard me with extra power this has been one of them.” I whispered. © 2013 Mary Greenwell |
