Study In Scarlet

Study In Scarlet

A Poem by Rosalind Gale

A balsa wood ship, silhouetted against the shrieks -

Bends to a silent shore.

Your green eyes lollop low, red wisps kiss curl away,

Moon's light rustles through my smile, her

Sweetness of shallow breathing. Milk that will never sour.

Oh my glorious one, your pale mountainous cheeks,

Little winter lilies -

Such torrential salt snaky streams

Fade to your now untroubled soul

Coiled around me.

And a day on earth without you,

As a broken compass -

Pointless.

Truly beautiful. The power of love

This is truly heartbreaking of beauty and purity my dear Rosie... you shine, by her, and by her guiding light, she as a compass of your restless sea... sigh... this is pure art, and beauty to me from a mom, who fully loves, and is guided by her little one~ thank you for sharing my dear... splendid poetry.

I love you! I thought you'd gone upstairs to write, and you had. She's made all of us so happy, and you most of all. Hmm, one of my ideas in here?! My lovely sister xxxxx
