the dim light

the dim light

A Poem by marybeth miles
"

this poem is a about a monster.

"

I started from my sleep with horror,

a cold dew covered my forehead,

my teeth chattered, and every limb shivered with cold,

by the dim light of the moon, I saw the miserable monster whom I created.
