the note

Walking down the road

      she passes under the lights

arms crossed her body shaking

      its raining, theres no place to go

she walks into the night, with the fear of her past

      she starts running, eyes shut,

the rain beats down, she begans to cry, she stops

       tears falling, she wipes them away 

memorys of him hold her back, saying goodbye was easy

        forgetting him is doing the impossible

she cant understand, the note says

        "i love you always and forever but forever is never"

she fell in love, he loved one to many.

        the knife in her back meant that he cared

hes gone, shes still here.

        whats left is a meaningless note
