Vivaldi’s SummerA Poem by Maryam MottahedehVivaldi’s Summer When I listen to Vivaldi’s Summer My heart soars high up into the skies Into the immeasurable altitudes there That draws me closer To the unspoken truths
When I listen to Vivaldi’s Summer I spring up high towards the summer sun Towards the heat of summer’s palpitating passion Stroking excitement and joy And at every corner Behind every flower in bloom The high pitch of love song Of the birds And the buzz of warmth That fills me with color
When I listen to Vivaldi’s Summer I find myself high in the places where words have ceased Yet my heart is full of knowing Full of being Like a symphony © 2013 Maryam MottahedehFeatured Review
