Knowing We Are all One

Knowing We Are all One

A Poem by Maryam Mottahedeh

Knowing We Are all One

The fractals continuously merge back to wholeness

Drawing to itself from the closer to the remote particles

Closer and closer to a merge

Then working to a perfect circle

I witness from above the bowl of my essential oil burner

As God may witness from within its burning chest of love

Recollecting itself

Outside the big essential oil

Amidst the water are the spilled out fractal colors

Such glorious magnificence

Like the colors spilling out of the rainbow

From the white light, central to all events

Oh God let me burn this essential oil

And remember the essentials of my life

Merging to wholeness

Above the heavy resins that lay below

Knowing we are all one
