It’s good to be a human

Would you believe it

All the joy and bounciness

The bubbles coming out of children’s hair

As they run in the wind flowing though their limbs

 

The springy cushion of their knees

And free smiles are all such testaments

 

Would you believe it

Do you remember

Just how good it is to be a human

The joy of a new day

And adventures of the unknown

Discoveries, so many to look forward to

To keep our senses open for

 

Unending weren’t they

 

I know, I know what happened is too much

To say a mention here

And it is still good to be a human
