Walking a mileA Poem by Mary Christabel GeorgeThere is a mixture of many things here. Hope one will bifurcate, differentiate & understand them all each.Walking a mile....! Walking a mile Searching for smile Me & my Solitude Nature gifted me with gratitude.
Returning to a home... Which existed never. Loving a mother... Who never loved in return. Love so profound & chaste... Seen only in dreams & fairy tale. Walking a mile Searching for smile Me & my Solitude Nature gifted me with gratitude. Lost in the crowd... Yet very lonely. Solace arrived gracefully... Mind haunted with thoughts. It’s raining out there ... Regret not getting wet. Walking a mile Searching for smile Me & my Solitude Nature gifted me with gratitude.
Looked into the mirror... To see the broken reflection of self. These barren lands... Haven’t seen flood for long. Smiling & laughing now... Over the tears & pain survived ever. Walking a mile Searching for smile Me & my Solitude Nature gifted me with gratitude. Mary Christabel George.......! © 2013 Mary Christabel GeorgeAuthor's Note
