![]() It's meA Poem by Mary Christabel George![]() It is dedicated to the girls who were let down by society even by parents and siblings. Get up. Be confident. You are beautiful. And love yourself Honey.![]() It’s me Far across a girl walks to come abreast With dazzling beauty of her eyes As her latency warms up the room The heavens and the Earth sighs too. As she comes closer I found Her blatant, red, glittery lips Hiding some words within She wouldn't let anyone so easily kiss. The drilled art on her cheeks Flashing faintly in her smile Not every body gets this dimple Have been seeing this for a while.
When the fairy air hugs her face Her curly hairs touches her neck She softly takes them away The artistry of this damsel is not fake In curiosity to contrive who is she I deliberately looked into the mirror I was astonished to see it was me Thus Perspired with anxiety and fear The world never realized my elegance Because I myself was never convinced Now the world is changing around me With allurement and glamour stands combined. I will walk with head held high I shall not be suppressed by the superior Every child is a gift of GOD I am bashful and modest but not inferior. © 2013 Mary Christabel GeorgeAuthor's Note
