Doubtful Future

Countless lives determined ahead,
By guidance none their own.
Their dreams remain with the dead,
Buried under a forgotten stone.

Until they are able to choose,
What the future will bring is unknown.
Life is not a game we want to lose,
So we gain a questioned mind.

We postpone the choices we make.
But no choice made is wrong.
For choice is no mistake,
The mistake lays in fear.

This choice is tough,
For we should fear to choose,
we should fear that we haven't lived enough.
Whatever path we choose to take,

For life brings unlimited possibilities,
To every human being unknown.
We don't know which path to take,
So we end up... creating our own.
