The AtlanticA Poem by marty360A piece for a dream to be made trueI’m standing in the doorway, Staring at the sun rising above the distant landscape, As you lay down to rest your head, Where I should be, Next to you, on our bed. I think of the future, And the plans we have, I’ll leave this glorious land, To join you across the pond. There’s much to plan, And much to do, But I know it’ll be worth it, When I’m stood next to you. The plans we have, Are set in motion, But for now, I’ll remain in this moment. I’ll be with you, in time, We will be hand in hand, once again, For us to remain, In the same domain. © 2013 marty360 |
