Sick of the stories

Sick of the stories

A Poem by marshyman

I’m sick of the stories I her on the news,

Of violent teens with too much booze.

Nothing like what we are inside,

Just a shell where we like to hide.

I don’t like your lies about being laid,

By ten different girls and you never paid.

I’m sick of the rumours and stuff we hear,

By little stuck up kids with too much beer.

Can’t we go back to the days when love meant something?

Not in these times when talking and loving is nothing.

I wish we weren’t full of stories,

And stupid two am glories.
