With little warning, Death took a close friend recently. This is a re-evaluating life poem.

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE

 

It’s never too late to say, “I love you”

It’s never too late to wipe away a child’s tears or kiss away a boo boo

It’s never too late to be kind

It’s never too late to be thoughtful

It’s never too late to say, “I’m sorry”

It’s never too late to give without expecting to receive

It’s never too late to show tolerance

It’s never too late to laugh

It’s never too late to smile

It’s never too late to help

It’s never too late to say, “Thank you”

It’s never too late to be a good friend

It’s never too late to be positive

It’s never too late to set a good example

It’s never too late to work hard

It’s never too late to set goals high

It’s never too late to be the best you can be

Life is short, but as long as you breathe, it is never too late
