Waiting

Waiting

A Poem by Marshal Gebbie

Waiting

by Marshal Gebbie

Waiting here, at the corner of my life,
For that moment of lost love,
from so long ago.

Waiting for the breathlessness of youth...
and the deep ache of longing to revisit

...to electrify my wooden soul.
